Description: Blue-tongue lizards were once a very common sight in suburban backyards. They are less common but are still seen, especially around houses close to bushy areas. Blue-tongue lizards need rocks, logs and grasses. They eat insects, seeds, daisy flowerheads and small fruit. As their name suggests, they have a distinctive blue tongue.
